Delete Your ClinicFolio Account
In the app
- Open ClinicFolio and sign in.
- Go to Settings › Personal Information › Delete Account (at the bottom of the page).
- Confirm. Your account is locked immediately and we email you a confirmation.
Without the app
Send us a request from this page. We email a confirmation link to the address registered to your account, and nothing changes until you open it and confirm — so no one else can delete your account.
Request received. If an account uses that email, we have sent it a confirmation link. Open it within 24 hours to confirm — nothing changes until you do.
You can also email [email protected] from the address registered to your account, with the subject “Delete my ClinicFolio account”.
What happens next
- You can cancel within 14 days by emailing [email protected].
- After that, your account, profile, patient records, reports, prescriptions and attached documents are permanently deleted within 30 days of your request, and we confirm by email.
- We keep only what the law requires us to keep, and de-identified statistics that cannot identify you or any patient.
Deleting some data only
You can edit your profile and delete documents you attached at any time in the app, without deleting your account. Approved reports and prescriptions are part of your medical records and are removed only when your account is deleted.
